The Hotel Savoy traces its history back to the early 20th century. The hotel was built in the Art Nouveau style in 1911 and quickly became a popular place
in Prague. Its extraordinary location in the heart of Prague was another reason why it rapidly was put on the world's cultural map.
In the year 1914, a cinema was opened in the Savoy and the hotel has attracted the attention of the local cultural community ever since.
After the Second World War, the Savoy lost its glamour due to the ‘new’ system of the communist regime.
In the year 1990, the hotel received a new owner who completely renovated the building and reopened the Hotel Savoy in 1994 as a 5-star deluxe hotel.
In early 2015, the hotel has undergone an extensive reconstruction leading to the reconciliation of its original elegance with the modern equipment. Accommodation is provided in
49 spacious and elegant rooms with a minimum size of 32 sqm and 7 stylishly furnitured luxurious suites.
