Opened in 1900 for the World’s Fair, Regina was constructed on the site of the Louvre Palace royal stables. Its founder, Mr Léonard Tauber had passion for
arts, and he gathered around his project the best artists and the most talented craftsmen of his time to make his beautiful dream come true. With its carefully preserved Second
Empire façade and imperial style domed roof, this historic five star Hotel is a true Belle Époque gem today.
In spring 2015, after two complete Years of renovation, the Regina Hotel became a luxury establishment.
Regina's authentic Art Nouveau décor has made the hotel a favourite film shooting site. A number of its suites and its impressively beautiful lobby, its huge crystal chandeliers,
its revolving door entrance have appeared in many films as symbols of French luxury.
Hotel Regina is now part of Les Hotels Baverez, a collection of three Parisian hotels in cluding The Raphael and Majestic Hotel & Spa.
